THE MISSION:  Reaching out to all kinds of people with the message of God's love and forgiveness (Matthew 28:16-20; Luke 24:46-47)

Our church reaches out to all kinds of people with a message - "there is forgiveness of sins for all who repent" (Luke 24:46-47).  We believe we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to go to all peoples with "the knowledge of the glory of God" (Habakkuk 2:14).

Our mission is to make a difference in our communities by bringing people to Christ.  It is Christ who changes lives, not us.  He saves us from our selfishness and sin.  He empowers us to overcome.  He motivates us to serve.  He teaches us to love one another.  He gives us a destiny and vision to make a difference in this world. The average person has the right to dream his own dreams and develop his own picture of what his future could and should be.  BUT AT THE CROSS,
those of us who have sworn allegiance to Jesus Christ lost that right.  After all, we are not our own. We have been bought with a price.  We are to glorify - or honor - God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-20)

Honoring God involves discovering His picture or vision of what our lives could and should be. Glorifying God involves discovering what we could and should accomplish.  "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works." (Ephesians 2:10) We were created and recreated with His purposes in mind.  That means we as a body of believers are a product of God's vision.  God has decided what we could and should be as a church. We are the outcome of something God envisioned.

We believe you are here for this reason:  to discover what God could and should accomplish through you.  We do not accomplish God's mission alone. He is with us always and we are ON MISSION WITH GOD.
